April Aulick, is co-founder as well as President and CEO. She is a CompTIA CDIA+ certified professional with over 12 years experience in this industry. Mrs. Aulick has a strong sales and marketing background having spent many years in various sales fields marketing many different products successfully. Additionally, she has excellent financial management skills proven by her ability to keep DataVault a profitable business. Mrs. Aulick has a vision for DataVault that includes major product expansion into global markets and is dedicated to the successful growth of her company. Mrs. Aulick volunteers her time in the community involved in programs that improve the quality of life for those less fortunate.

Byron Aulick is co-founder as well as Executive Vice President and CTO. He is also our senior CDIA+ instructor and has authored the training materials for many of our courses in which we have seen much success. Mr. Aulick has been involved in the document imaging and management industry for 23 years, having hands-on expertise in all aspects of the field. He travels world-wide teaching classes and consulting for major clients.

Mr. Aulick is recognized as an exceptional instructor and is passionate about document imaging. This is very apparent in his teaching. His instruction is methodical, thorough, and true to the concept of being ‘vendor neutral’; his training is focused on content, with no hidden sales agenda.

Providing system design and imaging training since 1983, Mr. Aulick has performed work for numerous and diverse commercial businesses and governmental agencies including: The US Navy, Army Research Office, Hasbro Toys, Granger Construction, Yankee Atomic Electric, Co., Virginia Natural Gas, National Institutes of Health, Hewlett Packard and Ricoh just to name a few.

In 2001, the Computer Trade Industry Association (CompTIA) retained Mr. Aulick’s services as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to rewrite the CDIA+ exam. Later in 2002, CompTIA sought Mr. Aulick’s expertise, yet again, to serve as the Team Leader, along with eight other SMEs to evaluate the proposed CDIA+ exam. Mr. Aulick personally examined, scrutinized and, in some cases, rewrote many of the test questions in an effort to produce the optimal testing tool. Mr. Aulick has also been recently selected by CompTIA to serve on the CDIA+ Advisory Committee.

Mr. Aulick is recognized worldwide as an industry expert. He maintains his knowledge through a carefully planned regimen of reading materials, educational seminars, trade-shows, manufacturers’ training, audiotapes and commercial installations.
