DataVault, Inc. has been providing training, consulting and office-automation solutions since 1993, with an emphasis on Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) technology. DataVault was originally founded as Business Automation in Massachusetts. After spending a few years in Virginia, the company moved back to New England in 2000 and changed its name to DataVault, Inc.. DataVault has since established itself as the leader in the document imaging training and consulting field, offering training regimens including Document Imaging-101 Training Course, CompTIA CDIA+™ Training Course, EDMS Needs Assessment Training Course and Scanning Service Bureau setup. A milestone for DataVault was the expansion of its services to include DataVault Online (formerly named, WebVault) in 1999, a SaaS model online Document Management system, which allows clients to retrieve their records through secure access via the Internet from anywhere in the world.

Byron Aulick is President and Co-founder. Mr. Aulick is CompTIA CDIA+, PDI+, and Project+ certified. He is our senior instructor and has authored our training materials for all of the courses we provide. Mr. Aulick has been involved in the document imaging and management industry for 24 years, having hands-on expertise in all aspects of the field. He travels worldwide teaching and consulting for major clients. Mr. Aulick is recognized as an exceptional instructor and is passionate about document imaging. This is very apparent in his teaching style, his instruction is methodical, thorough, and true to the concept of being ‘vendor neutral’; his training is focused on content, with no hidden sales agenda.
Mr. Aulick is on the Cornerstone Committee for the CompTIA CDIA+ and PDI+ certification programs and previously served as a Subject Matter Expert to help re-write the exam. He was recently selected by CompTIA to be on the CDIA+ Advisory Committee. Mr. Aulick is also an EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems) business consultant specializing in helping companies to implement EDM systems and scanning bureaus.April Aulick, CEO and Co-founder. Mrs. Aulick is a CompTIA CDIA+ certified professional with over 17 years experience in the ECM / EDM industry. She has been managing the company’s operations, financials, marketing, HR and scanning departments successfully since the mid 90’s. Mrs. Aulick has a strong sales and marketing background that includes the direct sales, advertising and automotive industries, among others. She is also a trainer and consultant, consulting and training many of our customers to operate successful scanning businesses. Mrs. Aulick has a vision for DataVault that includes major product expansion into global markets and is dedicated to the successful growth of her company.
Mrs. Aulick is a Breast Cancer Survivor, diagnosed in May 2007 and recently received a clean bill-of-health. Mrs. Aulick volunteers in the community, has been a keynote speaker at several important community events involving youth and serves on the board of Y.O.U. Inc (Youth Opportunities Upheld, Inc. www.youinc.org).
